SUMMARY:Warbler Bingo
DESCRIPTION:It's time for Warbler Bingo (in our best Vince Skully voice)! \n\n\n\nWell hello\, everybody\, and what a season it is! Baseball's got its pennant race and its World Series\, and right here in Ventura County we've got our own postseason of sorts: three months of warblers stealing bases through every tamarisk in the county. \n\n\n\nThat's right\, folks. Fall migration is here\, and it is time once again for the fastest\, feistiest\, most maddeningly hard-to-pin-down game in birding: Warbler Bingo. Grab your binoculars\, get your neck warmed up\, and get ready to call some warblers. \n\n\n\nFull rules\, how to play\, and your Bingo card sign-up: https://conejovalleyaudubon.org/birding/warbler-bingo/ \n\n\n\nSo get out there\, keep those binoculars up\, and let's play some Warbler Bingo.

SUMMARY:Piute Ponds *members only*
DESCRIPTION:The Piute Ponds are one of the premier birding hotspots in Los Angeles County\, but we need to get special permission and background checks to access them\, as they are located on Edwards Air Force Base property. \n\n\n\nWe are planning to go the Saturday after Thanksgiving\, so background checks need to be submitted by November 1. \n\n\n\nIf you are interested\, please email us at fieldtrips@conejovalleyaudubon for the background check form. \n\n\n\nSpace is limited\, so act quickly.
